01Who we are
Frost is operated by Frost Hosting Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales. In these terms "we", "us" and "Frost" mean Frost Hosting Ltd., and "you" means the person or organisation that holds the account.
02Your account
You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to open an account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- Give us accurate contact and billing details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password and API keys private and turn on two-factor authentication.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
03Orders and billing
Services are billed in advance for the period you choose: monthly, quarterly or yearly. Prices are shown before checkout and include any discount for longer terms. Taxes are added where the law requires it.
Services renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If a renewal payment fails we will retry it and email you. Services that stay unpaid are suspended after 3 days and deleted, with their data, after 7 days.
04Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel from the billing page at any time. Your service keeps running until the end of the period you paid for and then stops. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
05Using the service
You get full control of your server, and with that comes responsibility for what runs on it. You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. Resources such as CPU, memory, storage and bandwidth are provided as described on your plan.
We may apply security updates and move services between hosts to keep the platform healthy. We will give notice of planned maintenance as described in our Service Level Agreement.
06Your data and backups
You own the content you upload. You give us only the permission we need to host, back up and deliver it for you.
Every plan includes 100GB of backups, but no backup system is perfect. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose. We are not responsible for data loss caused by your actions, your software or a failure you could reasonably have protected against.
07Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end a service without refund if:
- it breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- it puts other customers, our network or our partners at risk;
- the law or a valid order from an authority requires it; or
- the account is used for fraud or chargebacks.
08Liability
The service is provided as it is. Apart from the commitments in our Service Level Agreement, we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
09Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects you, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
