Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use our services to host, send or link to:

• content that is illegal where it is hosted or where you are, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities;
• pirated software, media or other material that infringes someone's copyright or trademark;
• phishing pages, fraudulent shops or scams; or
• content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism, or incites violence against people.

The following are not allowed:

• launching denial-of-service attacks, running booter or stresser services, or amplifying attacks;
• scanning, probing or trying to break into systems you don't own or have permission to test;
• running open proxies, open resolvers or open mail relays;
• spoofing IP addresses or packet headers; and
• hosting botnet command-and-control servers or malware.

Do not send unsolicited bulk email, or messages that break anti-spam laws, from our network. Outbound SMTP on port 25 is blocked on new accounts by default. You can request access after 30 days in good standing.

Cryptocurrency mining and proof-of-space farming are not allowed on game servers or VPS plans. They hold shared hardware at full load and hurt neighbouring customers.

Your plan's CPU, memory and storage are yours to use. Sustained workloads that affect other servers on the same host, such as runaway processes or disk thrashing, may be throttled. If that happens we will contact you before taking further action.

Follow the licence and end-user agreement of the games you host. For example, Minecraft servers must follow Mojang's usage guidelines. Game publishers can ask us to take down servers that break their rules.

Send reports to abuse@frost.gg. Include the IP address, timestamps with time zone, and logs or other evidence. We review every report and aim to act on credible ones within 24 hours.

Depending on how serious a violation is, we may warn you, limit your network access, suspend the service or close the account. Severe violations such as attacks or illegal content are suspended immediately, with no refund.
